Best LEGO Advent Calendars (2026): What's Inside and What's Still in Stock

5 min read

LEGO releases its advent calendars once a year and they do not stay available long. This guide tracks the 5 2026 sets that appear on Amazon, shows which are in stock right now, and what is behind the doors. Pieces and minifigure counts come from each listing.

Searching Amazon for LEGO advent calendars also returns calendars from earlier years, sold by third-party resellers rather than Amazon. We do not recommend those: check the year in the title and the seller before you buy, and compare the price against the 2026 sets below.

We have not built any of these sets. Everything is research from the listings and the live Amazon data timestamped above.

Is it good value? The cost-per-door check

None of the listings in this guide state a retail value, so we do not show one. Use cost per door and the full-size column to compare. Not stated in the listing

Every set here has 24 doors, so cost per door is the same as comparing prices. The more useful question is what you get for it: minifigures, vehicles, or a playmat. LEGO listings do not state a retail value, so we do not show one.

Our honest read: Star Wars and Disney Princess are the lowest cost per door. Marvel costs more, and you are paying for the minifigures. Sets that are out of stock have no price to compare.

Sorted by cost per door, lowest first. Cost per door is a rough guide: a door holding a full-size product is not the same as a door holding a sample.

How to choose a LEGO advent calendar

Check the year in the title

Amazon search mixes current sets with earlier-year calendars from resellers. The set number in each card title identifies the right one.

Pick the theme the child plays with

The mini builds are small, and they are most fun when they connect to a world the child already knows.

Watch the age rating

Listings give the age as 5+ or 6+. The small parts are not suited to younger children.

Buy early

LEGO calendars are produced for one season. Once the stock badge says sold out, it usually stays that way.

Frequently asked questions

Which LEGO advent calendar is best in 2026?

The Star Wars set (75456) has the most vehicles and one of the lowest costs per door, and the Marvel set (76340) has the most minifigures. The best one depends on the theme the child prefers.

Why are LEGO advent calendars from earlier years on Amazon?

Third-party resellers list older calendars. They are not sold by Amazon or LEGO and are often priced differently. Check the year and the seller.

How many doors do LEGO advent calendars have?

All five 2026 sets in this guide have 24 doors.

What if the LEGO calendar I want is sold out?

Sold-out LEGO calendars are rarely restocked in the same season. The stock badge on each card shows what Amazon reported when we last checked.
